$350 (registration fee) + $150 (team pre-gate fee)

13/14U (54′ mound, 80′ bases)
$395 (registration fee) + $150 (team pre-gate fee)

** Due to guidelines mandated by the County and for the safety of our patrons and workers, we will be charging a one time “team pre-gate fee” instead of collecting individual daily fees at the gate. This pre-gate fee is due at the same time as your teams registration fee. **

Tournament Update (June 2nd)
Game schedules and rules will be posted here on this tournament page Wednesday night, June 10th. Coaches will receive an email once the schedule is posted. Please do not contact the tournament directors with scheduling requests, We are unable to take them. Teams need to be ready to start Friday night June 12th.

The 2020 Battle of Canton will be held in Canton, Georgia from June 12th through June 14th for the following age groups: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, & 14 year old’s. This event will be held at Mauldin Park and Harmon Field. 

Tournament Format: (3 game guarantee)

2 games of pool play followed by single elimination brackets. For pool play, teams can expect 1 weeknight game (Thursday or Friday depending on tournament start date) and 1 Saturday game. Some teams could possibly have 2 Saturday games instead.

* All teams will play random pool play games within their age group and then be seeded and and placed into a bracket for Sunday. Many age groups will have both Gold and Silver (and sometimes Bronze) brackets on Sunday. The total number of brackets in each age group will be determined by the tournament director and is based on the total number of teams in each age group, as well as few other factors.

We will play Dizzy Dean rules (with a couple of small modifications) for this tournament. However, this tournament is open to any type of Recreational, Allstar, and even “thrown together” pick up teams. This is not a “sanctioned” event and teams do not have to qualify to play in it. We are definitely being more lenient about teams that we take this year considering that most parks do not have true Allstar teams because of shortened or canceled rec seasons. All basic Tournament rules will be posted under a “rules tab” at the top of this page at the same time schedules are posted. Below are the basic base and pitching dimensions for each age group. 

5u, 6u, 7u and 8u – 60 ft bases / Coach pitch
(No lead offs or stealing)

9u and 10u – 60 ft bases / 46 ft mound
(No lead offs – Stealing is allowed after ball crosses home plate)

11u and 12u – 70 ft bases / 50 ft mound
(lead offs and stealing is allowed)

13/14u – 80 ft bases / 54 ft mound
(lead offs and stealing is allowed)

***All-Star Baseball WILL allow the use of USSSA BPF 1.15 bats as well as the new USA bats***

You will then need to print the tournament entry form, fill it out, and email or text a picture of it back to Taj. You can pay your team’s registration fee by Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or you can mail a check to the address on the entry form. NO SPOTS ARE 100% GUARANTEED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
